When (And when not) To Use

When it comes to leaks, everyone’s different. Most athletic leaks are in the 5–15ml range per instance, which we considered when designing these. They’re ideal for lighter, ongoing leakage or a few athletic leaks during activities like lifting, jumping, or high-impact exercise. If you tend to leak a bit under strain, these are made for you!

However, they may not be suitable for every situation, such as:

  • Returning to the gym just after having a baby, when you’re still learning your SUI triggers or limits
  • Bench days, since the gusset doesn’t extend up the back (they’re best for standing or seated activities)
  • Comp days or maxing out, if you experience heavy leakage, as the volume and speed of leaks may exceed their capacity

Materials & Care Guide

Lining: Cotton, Polyester + Breathable TPU

Underwear Main Body: 90% Polyamide + 10% Elastane

Care Guide: Seamless underwear uses ultra‑fine fibres and bonded construction for a smooth, second‑skin finish, so proper care is critical - especially for leakproof styles with bonded gussets. Wash cool (≤30°C) on delicate with gentle, pH‑neutral detergent, ideally in a mesh wash bag. Always air dry (tumble drying is an absolute no‑no) and keep away from direct heat/sunlight. Never use fabric softeners, bleach, or dryer sheets, and don’t iron or dry clean. Full care instructions can be found here.

Why FitKnicks Leakproof Undies

We know the struggle: leaks, visible panty lines, and underwear that just doesn’t stay put. That’s why we created FitKnicks - to solve the problems active women face every day.

Leakproof technology

Holds up to 20-25ml of liquid, giving you peace of mind during workouts.

Breathable Comfort

Stretchy, moisture-wicking fabrics keep you fresh and dry.

no-show designs

Bonded (as opposed to sewn) seams minimise visible panty lines (VPL) and keeps your gym outfits looking flawless.

made for active women

From the silhouette to material selected, these are made with workouts in mind.

What they're great for

FitKnicks Leakproof underwear are engineered for the realities of day-to-day stress urinary incontinence (SUI): think sneezes, lifts, and those classic “just in case” moments. Most athletic SUI episodes are light, typically 5–15ml, and these undies comfortably absorb up to 25ml, giving you reliable protection for your workouts.

Heads up: this style is not designed for severe leaks or the higher volumes sometimes experienced during competition. And because of the gusset construction, they’re best suited for upright activities, so you’ll want to swap them out for another pair if your workout has you spending a lot of time lying on your back (think Pilates or bench press days). FitKnicks are all about confidence and comfort for real, active women. No shame, just solutions.
