Apart from the fact that 1 in 7 Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, you mean?

This is my Mum. My mum is one of the biggest supporters of FitKnicks.

She's been in my corner since the start. Always cheering, always telling people about it (whether they want to hear it or not).

Recently, Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery went well and she's now doing radiation therapy. It all came about very quickly and we seem to now be on the other side of it equally quickly. While it's been awful, the speed and effectiveness of her treatment is exclusively due to research. 

This is my way of giving back (because my initial promise of 'wigs' was not appreciated and, thankfully, not necessary).
